Frequently Asked Questions

Do you require all my payment summaries and receipts to do my tax return?

Not always, we can collect some of your information from the Australian Tax Office (ATO) and from Bank Statements.

The ATO collects information about your income from banks, etc. Furthermore, there are some deductions we can claims that can be made that do not require a receipt. e.g motor vehicle expenses, home office expenses, rent telephone, internet, etc, etc,

Are your services paid upfront or redeemed against tax return, and what if there is no money back?

No, we can put you on a payment plan or you can pay upfront or we can collect our fee from your tax refund (if applicable). If there is no refund, you will be able to pay us in full before we lodge your return.

Can you act on my behalf in dealing with the ATO?

Yes, we will let the ATO know we are preparing your Tax Returns and to call STS Accounting from there onwards.
